This vintage Seikosha reference 13006 is a beautifully unusual early 1950’s Japanese dress watch, distinguished by its spectacular textured dial. The stone dial has aged into a rich mixture of brown, bronze and gold tones, creating a heavily speckled, almost stone-like appearance that changes dramatically under different lighting. Its minimalist layout features applied faceted hour markers, sharp dauphine-style hands and the distinctive applied “S” emblem at 12 o’clock, giving the watch an incredibly clean mid-century aesthetic. Inside sits a 15-jewel hand-wound Seikosha mechanical movement, visible in the photographs and operated through the oversized vintage-style crown. The stainless-steel case retains its elegant proportions and is paired with a black leather strap, while the natural ageing and patina of the dial make this a genuinely characterful example where no two views look quite the same.
