Description

This vintage Seiko 5 Automatic 7009-3040 is a particularly attractive example of Seiko’s classic everyday mechanical watch, featuring a rich navy blue dial accented with gold-tone detailing. The dial is characterised by its unusual combination of baton and circular hour markers, a fine gold chapter ring and matching gold-tone hands, creating a wonderfully distinctive appearance. Please note that the dial shows some visible damage and signs of age, adding to its vintage character. At 3 o’clock sits the signature Seiko 5 bilingual day-date display, with Sunday picked out in red, while the angular stainless-steel case gives the watch a strong vintage profile.

Powered by Seiko’s dependable calibre 7009 automatic movement, the watch represents the simple, robust mechanical engineering that made the Seiko 5 range so successful around the world. It is paired with a stainless-steel bracelet that complements the case beautifully and maintains the watch’s classic period appearance. The combination of its deep blue dial, warm gold accents and distinctive hour markers makes this a particularly characterful vintage Seiko 5 and an excellent choice for an everyday mechanical watch.

Please note the dial damage/marks.
